Privacy notice
How Platinum Guard handles information you share with us.
This notice explains information collected through the website and when you contact Platinum Guard about a quote or service request. Insurance transactions may also be subject to additional privacy notices and rights under state and federal law.
Effective August 30, 2026
Information we collect
We collect information you choose to provide when you request a quote, ask for service, call, email, or otherwise contact the agency. Depending on the request, that may include your name, email address, phone number, state, ZIP code, insurance interests, business or personal insurance needs, timing, the details you choose to provide, and insurance documents or photos you intentionally upload.
Please do not send Social Security numbers, payment card information, driver’s license numbers, medical information, or other highly sensitive information through a general website form, ordinary email, or text message unless Platinum Guard specifically asks you to use an appropriate secure method.
How we use information
We use information to respond to quote and service requests, communicate with you, identify insurance markets that may fit the request, assist with applications or policy service when authorized, maintain business records, prevent fraud or misuse, protect our systems, and meet legal, regulatory, carrier, and contractual obligations.
Website and browser data
The website uses browser storage and first-party website telemetry to operate the site, preserve attribution and in-progress context, understand page and form performance, detect errors or unusual activity, and improve the customer experience. Before you submit a form, Platinum Guard may receive technical and interaction information such as pages or form steps viewed, buttons used, validation or error states, timing and performance, browser, device, display, language and accessibility-preference information, referral or campaign information, and network, request and approximate-region context. For Georgia-context website form activity, the website may also preserve values entered, changed, or cleared before submission so we can understand form use and diagnose friction; sensitive types and patterns such as passwords or authentication data, payment-card data, and Social Security number patterns are excluded. For Pennsylvania-context website form activity, pre-submit field telemetry is limited to field and step interaction metadata rather than the actual unsubmitted field contents. Submitted form answers and files you intentionally upload are sent when you complete the request. Optional Google Analytics, when enabled and allowed by your website choice, receives a smaller analytics-safe set and not direct contact information, quote or service form content, or uploaded document content.
Third-party website, analytics, email, carrier, and service providers may process information under their own terms and privacy practices when you use their services or leave the Platinum Guard website.
Your choices and insurance privacy rights
You can choose how much information to provide before speaking with an agent, adjust browser cookie or storage settings, and ask us to update your contact preferences. Applicable insurance privacy laws may provide additional rights to receive notices, access certain recorded personal information, request correction, or limit certain disclosures. Those rights depend on the law and the nature of the insurance relationship.
Security and retention
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the information and our business operations. No website, email system, or electronic transmission can be guaranteed completely secure. We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose it was collected, to support the insurance relationship, and to meet legal, regulatory, carrier, contractual, security, and recordkeeping requirements.
